Diverse gathering honors life of slain rider
A solemn vigil was held the evening of July 24, 2018 outside MacArthur BART station for Nia Wilson, the 18 year old Black woman who was stabbed to death the previous night by another rider in Macarthur station.
A white man has been identified and arrested in the case. Initial reports have said that the attack was unprovoked, and police have announced no possible motive.
The vigil was called by Anti-Police Terror Project, a Black and Brown-led collective.
